We offer two types of safety surfacing, poured in place rubber (PIP) or artificial turf. Both are built up of a 2/3 step process.
The first step of any project is having a solid foundation to our desired/required grade. Whether that foundation is a concrete slab, or a base of aggregate stone.
The next step is to choose whether you want poured in place rubber (PIP) or artificial turf.
There are many applications for our poured in place rubber. Whether you are looking to install on a playground, pool decks, sidewalks, walking trails, sport fields, splash pads, and even outdoor gyms.
Poured in place also offers many combination of colors, whether you want to do a 50/50 mix or get really creative with more than two colors. But we don't just stop there, we also are professionals in doing designs, whether its a logo, an animal, or any vision you have in mind. No matter how big or small we will get it done.
After we have established a solid foundation we add a thick layer of poured in place rubber that we call the buffing. The buffing's thickness can vary from 1/2 an inch to 4 inches depending on the application. For example, when it comes to playgrounds the thickness is determined by the height of the play sets, the taller the play sets, the thicker the buffing to ensure shock absorption. In applications where we do sidewalks, pool decks, splash pads, or sport play areas there is no need for buffing.
The final results you see with the color we call the cap which is a 1/2 inch thick layer of epdm granules that is hand screeded and finished, the thickness may vary according to certain applications with 1/2 inch being the most common. We can add multiple colors and get creative with the designs.

There are many applications where artificial turf can be used as well. Whether you're looking to install on a playground, make a mini golf course, have a recreational area designed to your liking, around your pool, a dog park, a soccer field, or maybe you're tired of all the maintenance that comes with a lawn. Offering a variety of different types of turf for different applications as well as colors.
After we have established a solid foundation we can start laying the turf down. Once all of the turf has been glued together we can spread an infill of sand which helps us weigh down the turf while at the same time cooling down the turf. The final step would be to brush the turf to get all that infill into the turf while lifting the turf hairs to look alive and vibrant.

If you can't decide between poured in place (PIP) rubber or artificial turf don't worry because you don't have to. You can have the best of both world's. We want our clients to know there isn't any idea too complicated, or any project too small, that we are innovative with designs, and we pride ourselves in our quality of surfacing.
